LivingNatural
I live on a small acerage in Nebraska with my family of 4. I have a Double BS degree in Business Administration and Health Information Administration and have long been a gardener, cook and amatuer photographer. I am writing these articles on my passions in hopes to inspirie my readers live healthier lives and enjoy life.
We have been gardening for over 20 years. We grow a huge garden, manage a small vineyard and orchard of about 2 acers. We grow all sorts of small fruits, apples and pears. We have fresh fruits from our garden an orchard from June until November. Our garden and orchard supplies us with over 50% of our food supply throughout the year, we do this by storing, canning, drying and freezing foods from our garden and orchard.
I also bake all my families' breads including english muffins, whole wheat breads, ciabatta, foccia, bagels, wholegrain buns, and more.
I like cooking and have created many of my own recipes. Along with cooking, I also like growing flowers of all types, shrubs, evergreens and I like planting new varieties varieites that may not normally grow in my region, like for example banboo and bald cypress, both can do quite well in Nebraska.
I also enjoy photography and like photographing the flowers, fruits and vegetables that we grow.
I like to cooking and growing foods as natural as possible, avoiding junk foods, additives, preservatives and chemicals. I desire to have my family to eat healthy natural foods and live natural healthy lives.
